Repair any leaking faucets and toilets

Conserve water to reduce the amount of wastewater
that must be treated and disposed of

Have Procare pump out the septic tank or aerator
ever 3-5 years
-
Switch your leach fields ever year
-
Make sure water softener discharge, outdoor drains
from roofs or driveways, footer drains, and basement sump pumps do
not discharge into the system
-
Replace the aerator motor with the same make and
model that came with the system
-
Call Procare when you have problems.

DON'T
|
- Plant trees or shrubbery over or near the drainfield as the
roots may plug the lines.
- Compact the soil or drive over the fields with cars, trucks or
heavy equipment
- Dig or build over your drainfield
- Plant root vegetables in the drainfield
- Do not cover the fields with hard surfaces such as concrete or
asphalt. Grass is the best cover as it will help prevent erosion and
help removed excess water.
